📍 Location
Hunsucker's Place is located at 905 W Wendover Ave, Greensboro, NC 27408.
🚗 Navigating Wendover:
Wendover is a busy road, and the driveway can be easy to miss. If you pass it, loop around by turning right on Hill Street, then right on Bessemer, Grayland, and back onto Wendover.
🚙 Parking:
In front of the house: Room for up to three small to mid size cars in front of the house. Behind the house is primarily for guests of the Urban Birdhouse Tiny Home but can be over flow for main house parking if needed.
🔑 Entry
Use the keypad at the front door. Enter 0414 🔓 to unlock.
To lock the door when leaving, pull the handle and press the 🔓 button.

🚫 House Guidelines
Please do not rearrange furniture, pictures, lamps, or rugs.
Avoid hanging or attaching items to the walls.
🚽 Flush Only Toilet Paper: Please do not flush wipes, sanitary products, paper towels, or other items. These will cause plumbing issues.
Fee for Plumbing Repairs Due to Improper Flushing: $100-$500 plus additional costs for damages.
If you need something that isn’t readily available, feel free to ask! We’re happy to share what we have or consider adding it for future guests.

In the summer months, enjoy picking fresh herbs, vegetables, or flowers from our garden! Just let us know, and we’ll guide you to the best spots.

We’ll send specific check-out instructions as your stay nears its end. For now, relax and enjoy your time here—just as you would at a friend or family member’s home. ❤️
🛏️ Damage Fees for Linens
To help us maintain quality accommodations, please note the following fees for any damage to linens:
Towels: $20 each
Sheet Sets: $100 per set
Pillow Cases: $25 each
Quilts and Blankets: $20 to $500, depending on the item’s value.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding that hair dye, sunless tanners and makeup ruin sheets, towels and furniture. Please be respectful.

Hunsucker’s Place is filled with love and memories of Eric's three sons: Logan, Larson, and Landon. We hope you feel at home during your stay and create some wonderful memories of your own.

We live just a few doors up the hill in the brick house at the corner of Grayland and Wendover. 🏡 You’ll often find us relaxing on the porch in the evenings—feel free to stop by and say hello. We’d love to meet you! 😊

Check Out Instructions
Remove all trash to cans outside. Remove all personal items. Leave home in respectful condition. Cleaning in excess of 5 hours will be billed back to you at $80/hour to cover time of our cleaning team. Removal of personal items is $100/truckload. Please let us know if there is maintenance needed or accidental damage.

Welcome! 🌟 Please review and follow these house rules during your stay to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience:
🐾 Pets
Pick up after pets and dispose of waste in the green trash can.
For cats, please take care to prevent spraying, clawing furniture, and litter scatter. All pet waste must be disposed of outside.
Pet-related cleaning beyond normal use is billed at $80/hour. This includes fur, waste, claw damage, or odors.
A pet fee covers one low-shed, small-to-medium pet. For multiple or high-shed pets, please consider mid-stay cleaning at $80/hour with 24 hours’ notice.

To avoid plumbing issues, do not flush the following items:
🚺 Sanitary products
🧻 Paper towels
🧴 Wipes (even “flushable” wipes)
👶 Diapers
🪥 Q-tips or cotton balls
✅ Only flush natural waste and toilet paper. Improper flushing may result in repair fees of $100–$500, billed to you.
🗑️ Trash & Recycling
Green can: Trash city of Greensboro pick up is every Monday.
Brown can: Recycling (no plastic bags please); city of Greensboro pickup is every other Monday.
Gray can: Yard waste only pick up via schedule.
🗓️ Trash pickup is every Monday, with recycling every other Monday. The cans are located behind the house. While Joy and Eric typically roll the cans out, help with this is always appreciated. 🌻
🌱 Herb & Vegetable Garden
Feel free to pick herbs and vegetables when in season. Please only take what you need and leave the rest for others to enjoy. 🍅🌿
🔥 Shared Grill
The tiny house’s deck has a Weber gas grill shared by three homes. If the propane tank is empty, let us know so it can be replaced for the next guest.
🛏️ Damages to Linens & Towels
Replacement fees for damaged items are as follows:
🛁 Towels: $20 each
🛏️ Sheet sets: $100 per set
🛌 Pillowcases: $25 each
🛋️ Quilts/Blankets: $20–$500 depending on the item
🧹 Cleaning & Personal Items
Cleaning is billed at $80/hour.
Exceeding 5 hours of check-out cleaning will result in additional charges.
Personal items left behind will be removed at a fee of $100 per truckload.
🐕 Damages & Misuse
Charges may apply for the following:
Pet-related damage, including stains, scratches, or odors.
Excessive cleaning needs, such as dried spills.
Broken housewares, such as dishes or glasses.
Misuse of fixtures or amenities, including appliances or plumbing.
🛋️ Furniture & Decor
Do not rearrange furniture, lamps, or rugs.
Avoid hanging or attaching anything to the walls.
Any mail sent to this address after your check-out date will be returned to sender.

The neighbor at the corner of Hill and Wendover is Robert. He’s kind and has a creative flair for yard art. 🎨 Feel free to admire it!

Enter this home from Wendover Ave and follow the concrete driveway to the front of the home. You may park on the concrete or gravel, just please dont block the driveway to the back of the house where the tiny house guest parks. There is enough parking space for three small to mid sized vehicles at this home.

Welcome to Hunsucker's Place! 🌟 We are thrilled to host you and hope you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This manual provides all the information you need for a seamless visit. 🛋️ Your Space
Hunsucker’s Place is located in Idlewood Neighborhood aka Midtown Greensboro, within walking distance of Downtown Greensboro, parks, an urban trail, restaurants, Deep Roots food co-op, Red Cinema, Mac’s Speed Shop, and public transit.
This revitalized 1942 guest home has a 🎹 piano in the dining area, making it perfect for music lovers. The home features two bedrooms on the main floor and a third in the converted walk-up attic space.
⚠️ Please do not rearrange furniture or hang anything on walls. No fireplace use is permitted at any time.
We have seasonal vegetables and herbs available for picking as needed. Let us know if you need something you don’t see readily available; we are generally happy to share what we have.

🐾 Pets: Allowed with prior approval and a non-refundable fee.
Clean up after pet waste immediately and dispose of waste in green trash designated bins.
Avoid grass areas for pet urination to prevent damage.
Cat litter scatter, spraying, and furniture scratching will incur additional fee billed to you.
🧹 Excess cleaning fees of $80/hour will apply for human and pet-related messes, with additional charges for repairs or replacements.
🔇 Keep noise to a minimum between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
🧽 Mid-stay cleaning is available at $80/hour and must be booked at least 48 hours in advance.
