Thank you for choosing Hunsucker's Place. This creative, music-inspired retreat comfortably sleeps 6 and is filled with instruments, framed sheet music, and memories of Eric's three sons — Logan, Larson, and Landon. Play a few notes on the upright piano in the dining room, sink into the leather sofa for a movie night, or work from the dedicated desk with fast WiFi. It feels like staying with family who truly care about your comfort. 🌻

This stay supports Watsucker Urban Farm and job/life-skills training for Guilford County high school students with learning differences in Greensboro. We're so glad you're here.

Check-in window: 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM | Check-out: before 10:00 AM

Wendover is a busy road and the driveway can be easy to miss. If you pass it, loop around by turning right on Hill Street, then right on Bessemer, right on Grayland, and back onto Wendover. Pull into the circular driveway in front of the house — there's easy pull-through parking, so you never have to back out onto Wendover.

📶 WiFi & Tech

467 Mbps fiber — great for remote work. 54" Roku Smart TV in the living room and a second Smart TV in the attic den. A dedicated workspace desk is available.

🐾 Pets & Garden

Pets: Up to 2 well-behaved pets (fee applies — please confirm nightly rate at booking). Must be listed at booking. No pets on furniture or bedding. Pick up waste immediately and dispose of it in the green trash can. Cats require a litter containment, claw, and spray-prevention plan shared before booking. Excess cleaning $80/hr.

Traveling with a service animal or ESA? Trained service animals are always welcome with no fee. Read our ESA and service animal policy for full details before you book.

Fresh herbs and vegetables from the garden in season — please pick what you need and leave the rest. Grown as part of Watsucker Urban Farm, our job and life-skills training project for local high schoolers. The shared Weber gas grill on the tiny house deck (behind the home) is available to Hunsucker's, Urban Birdhouse, and neighboring guests — let us know if the propane runs low.

📋 House Rules

🚽 DO NOT FLUSH

Sanitary products, paper towels, wipes (even flushable), diapers, Q-tips, or cotton balls. Only flush natural waste and toilet paper. Improper flushing may result in repair fees of $100–$500.

Please do not rearrange furniture, pictures, lamps, or rugs, and avoid hanging anything on the walls. No fireplace use is permitted.

Trash: Green = trash (Mondays), Brown = recycling (no bags, every other Monday), Gray = yard waste. Cans are located behind the house — help rolling them out is always appreciated.

Quiet hours: 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, out of respect for neighbors. You may hear city sounds (ambulances, music, the Grimsley marching band) since this is a real, active urban neighborhood.

Mail: Any mail sent to this address after your check-out date will be returned to sender.

Neighborly note: The neighbor at the corner of Hill and Wendover is Robert — he has a creative flair for yard art. Feel free to admire it! 🎨

🧹 Check-Out

Check-out is before 10:00 AM. Remove all trash to the cans outside and take your personal items with you. Leave the home in respectful, tidy condition. Cleaning in excess of 5 hours is billed at $80/hr; personal items left behind are removed at $100/truckload.

Damaged linens/towels: $25 per bath towel, $100 per sheet set, $25 per pillowcase, $20–$500 per quilt or blanket depending on value. Please be mindful — hair dye, sunless tanner, and makeup can permanently stain sheets, towels, and furniture.
