Hunsucker's Place is named for Eric, and the three bedrooms inside honor each of his sons, Landon, Larson, and Logan. Instruments, framed sheet music, and personal touches are woven into the decor of this revitalized 1942 cottage, creating a warm and creative atmosphere for your stay.
Relax in the living room on a comfortable leather sofa and enjoy the 54-inch HDTV with Roku. The adjacent dining area features a playable upright piano. The bright, fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances and charming black-and-white checkered floors. The cozy walk-up attic den offers a private escape with two twin daybeds, an exposed brick chimney, and its own Smart TV.
A dedicated workspace and 467 Mbps WiFi make this a genuinely productive base for remote work, travel nurse rotations, and extended contract assignments near Cone Health.

Check-in & checkout
Self check-in via keypad, any time between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Checkout is before 10:00 AM. Need to arrive early or leave late? Up to 2 hours of early check-in or late checkout is available for a $50 fee (each), subject to calendar availability. Request through Airbnb messaging in advance. It's never guaranteed. Need more than a 2-hour window? We recommend booking the adjoining night to guarantee your schedule.

Pets
Hunsucker's Place is a whole-home rental and welcomes up to 2 well-behaved pets per booking at a flat, non-negotiable rate of $25 per pet, per night. All pets must be listed at the time of booking, no exceptions. The backyard is shared with our own home and is not fully fenced, so it's not ideal for off-leash dogs.
Traveling with a cat? Please contact us before booking to disclose in writing your method for containing litter spread and preventing clawing or spraying damage. This must be confirmed before your reservation is finalized. Read why we ask about your cat before you book.
Traveling with an ESA or service animal? Read our ESA and Service Animal policy before booking. Approved ESAs are exempt from the pet fee but not from cleaning or damage charges.
Booking & guest profile
