A book-themed cottage named for Joy's daughters
The Library of Ivy & Ellie honors Joy's daughters: Ivy, a certified herbalist, fiber artist, and web designer, and Ellie, a watercolorist and civil engineering tech. The books on the shelves are really theirs, alongside original artwork, handmade textiles, and curated vintage finds. Nothing here is generic. This is a whole-home rental: full, private access to the entire single-level 1949 cottage, with no interior stairs and no shared spaces.
Every stay includes two queen memory foam beds with 100% cotton linens, a fully equipped kitchen for real cooking, central heat and air, a tankless gas water heater, free off-street parking for 3 cars behind the home, and a dedicated desk in each bedroom with 467 Mbps WiFi, so two remote workers can settle in without sharing a table.

Check-in & checkout
Self check-in via keypad, any time between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Checkout is before 10:00 AM. Up to 2 hours of early check-in or late checkout is available for a $50 fee (each), subject to calendar availability, requested through Airbnb messaging in advance and never guaranteed. Need more than a 2-hour window? We recommend booking the adjoining night to guarantee your schedule.

Pets
As a whole-home rental, the Library of Ivy & Ellie welcomes up to 2 well-behaved pets per booking for one flat, non-negotiable pet fee of $25 per night (per booking, not per pet). All pets must be listed at the time of booking. The backyard is unfenced, so please plan to leash dogs during outdoor time. No pets on furniture or bedding; if your pet is a cuddler, bring your own covers or ask us to leave old sheets.

How close is this to Cone Health and UNCG?
Cone Health / Moses Cone Hospital is 0.7 miles (12-minute walk or 3-minute drive). UNCG is 1.2 miles, and downtown Greensboro is a half-mile, 8-minute walk.
Is it good for remote work?
Yes. Each bedroom has its own dedicated desk, WiFi runs at 467 Mbps, and two people can work at the same time without sharing a space.
Can I charge an electric vehicle?
Yes, Level 1 EV charging is available via an outdoor outlet, best suited for overnight charging. Bring your own charging cord.
