Named for Joy's daughters Ivy (herbalist & web designer) and Ellie (watercolor & fiber artist), it's filled with original art, handmade textiles, curated vintage pieces, and real personality. It feels like staying with family who truly care about your comfort. 🌻
This stay supports Watsucker Urban Farm and job/life-skills training for Guilford County high school students with learning differences in Greensboro. We're so glad you're here.

Pull down the concrete driveway beside our indigo-blue 1949 cottage and continue to the parking pad behind the home. Follow the Ellie-painted back steps up to the rear door, which opens directly into the kitchen.

🐾 Pets & Garden
Pets: Up to 2 well-behaved pets ($25/night fee). Must be listed at booking. No pets on furniture or bedding. Pick up waste immediately. Cats require a litter containment, claw, and spray-prevention plan shared before booking. Excess cleaning $80/hr.

Fresh herbs/veggies from garden in season. Please pick what you need and leave the rest. Grown as part of Watsucker Urban Farm, our job and life-skills training project for local high schoolers.
📋 House Rules
🚽 DO NOT FLUSH
Sanitary products, paper towels, wipes (even flushable), diapers, Q-tips. Only flush natural waste + toilet paper. Repairs $100 to $500.
Do not rearrange furniture/pictures. Trash: Green = trash, Brown = recycling (no bags), Gray = yard waste. Quiet hours after 9 to 10 PM. Respect neighbors. You may hear city sounds (ambulances, music, the Grimsley marching band) since this is a real, active urban neighborhood.
🧹 Check-Out
Check-out is before 10:00 AM. Remove trash/personal items and leave tidy. Cleaning over 5 hours or personal items left behind billed at $80/hr or $100/truckload. Damaged linens/towels: $25 per bath towel, $100 per sheet set (details on request).
