Thank you for choosing to stay with us! We look forward to hosting you. Please let us know the names of everyone in your group and any pets youβre bringing along.

The Library of Ivy and Ellie is located at 903 W Wendover Ave, Greensboro, NC 27408.
Wendover is a busy road, and the driveway can be easy to miss. If you pass it, you can loop around by turning right on Hill Street, then right on Bessemer, Grayland, and back onto Wendover. Thereβs parking behind the house for two cars.
ποΈ Entry
Enter 1204 into the keypad at the back door.
Important: If you lock the doorknob, you will need a key to get back inside. To avoid this, only lock the deadbolt, which you can unlock with the code.
To lock when leaving, pull the handle and press the π.
π« House Guidelines
Please do not rearrange any furniture, pictures, lamps, or rugs.
We also ask that you donβt hang or attach items to the walls.
If you need something that isnβt readily available, feel free to ask! Weβre happy to share what we have, or if itβs something missing, we might purchase it for future guests as well.
π» Fresh Herbs, Flowers, and Vegetables
During the summer, if you'd like to use fresh herbs, vegetables, or flowers from the garden, just ask! Weβll share with you where to pick. Please only take what you need and leave the rest for others.
π§Ή Check-Out
Weβll send specific check-out instructions as your stay comes to an end. But most importantly, we want you to relax and enjoy your time here, just as you would at a friend or family memberβs home.
We love sharing this special space, filled with memories of Joyβs two daughters, and we hope you feel at home during your stay.
We live nearby in the brick house at the corner of Grayland and Wendover, just a few doors up the hill. Weβre often on the porch in the eveningβfeel free to stop by and say hello. Weβd love to meet you!

Check Out Instructions
Remove all trash to cans outside. Remove all personal items. Leave home in respectful condition. Cleaning in excess of 5 hours will be billed back to you at $80/hour to cover time of our cleaning team. Removal of personal items is $100/truckload.

Welcome! π Please review and follow these house rules during your stay to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience:
πΎ Pets
Pick up after pets and dispose of waste in the green trash can. For cats, please take care to prevent spraying, clawing furniture, and litter scatter. All pet waste must be disposed of outside. Pet-related cleaning beyond normal use is billed at $80/hour. This includes fur, waste, claw damage, or odors. A pet fee covers one low-shed, small-to-medium pet. For multiple or high-shed pets, please consider mid-stay cleaning at $80/hour with 24 hoursβ notice.

To avoid plumbing issues, do not flush the following items:

π§΄ Wipes (even βflushableβ wipes)

πͺ₯ Q-tips or cotton balls
β Only flush natural waste and toilet paper. Improper flushing may result in repair fees of $100β$500, billed to you.
ποΈ Trash & Recycling
Green can: Trash
Brown can: Recycling (no plastic bags; pickup every other Monday)
Gray can: Yard waste only
ποΈ Trash pickup is every Monday, with recycling every other Monday. The cans are located behind the house. While Joy and Eric typically roll the cans out, help with this is always appreciated. π»
π± Herb & Vegetable Garden
Feel free to pick herbs and vegetables when in season. Please only take what you need and leave the rest for others to enjoy. π πΏ
π₯ Shared Grill
The tiny houseβs deck has a Weber gas grill shared by three homes. If the propane tank is empty, let us know so it can be replaced for the next guest.
ποΈ Damages to Linens & Towels
Replacement fees for damaged items are as follows:
π Towels: $20 each
ποΈ Sheet sets: $100 per set
π Pillowcases: $25 each
ποΈ Quilts/Blankets: $20β$500 depending on the item
π§Ή Cleaning & Personal Items
Cleaning is billed at $80/hour. Exceeding 5 hours of check-out cleaning will result in additional charges. Personal items left behind will be removed at a fee of $100 per truckload.
π Damages & Misuse
Charges may apply for the following:
Pet-related damage, including stains, scratches, or odors.
Excessive cleaning needs, such as dried spills.
Broken housewares, such as dishes or glasses.
Misuse of fixtures or amenities, including appliances or plumbing.

Welcome! π Weβre thrilled to have you here and appreciate your cooperation in keeping everything neat and running smoothly. Here are the guidelines to ensure an enjoyable stay:
Washer & Dryer
π Follow instructions attached to the washer and dryer doors.
π«οΈ The dryer is ventless and collects moisture in a drawer at the top left. After each use, empty the water drawer into the shower floor.
Trash & Recycling
ποΈ Green can: Trash
β»οΈ Brown can: Recycling (no plastic bags) (pickup every other Monday)
πΏ Gray can: Yard waste onlyποΈ Trash pickup occurs every Monday, with recycling collected every other Monday. Trash cans are located behind the house. While Joy and Eric generally roll the cans out and back, guests are appreciated for assisting with this task if possible. π»
Herb & Vegetable Garden
