Thank you for choosing to stay with us! We look forward to hosting you. Please let us know the names of everyone in your group and any pets you’re bringing along.

🏡 Location:

Sister’s is located at 1007 Grayland St, Greensboro, NC 27408.

From Wendover Ave, turn right onto Grayland and 1007 is on the right side of the street and has a metal sunflower on the front peak of the roof.

🗝️ Entry:

Enter 0617 into the keypad at the front door.

Important: If you lock the doorknob, you will need a key to get back inside. To avoid this, only lock the deadbolt, which you can unlock with the code.

To lock when leaving, pull the handle and press the 🔓.

About Your Hosts

We love sharing this special space, filled with memories of our two sisters and sisters of all relations. We hope you feel at home during your stay.

We live nearby in the brick house at the corner of Grayland and Wendover, just a few doors up the hill. We’re often on the porch in the evening—feel free to stop by and say hello. We’d love to meet you!

Check Out Instructions

Remove all trash to cans outside in the back yard. The Green Can is Trash, Brown can is Recycling and the Gray can is yard waster or vegetable scraps. Remove all personal items. Leave home in respectful condition. Cleaning in excess of 5 hours will be billed back to you at $80/hour to cover time of our cleaning team. Removal of personal items is $100/truckload.

House Rules

Welcome! Please take a moment to review the guidelines below to ensure a smooth and respectful stay.

🐾 Pets

  • Clean up after pets and dispose of waste in the green trash can (or brown can for litter).

  • Prevent clawing, spraying, and excess shedding.

  • Pet cleaning beyond normal wear is billed at $80/hour.

  • The pet fee includes one low-shed, small/medium pet. Extra pets or heavy shedders may require a mid-stay cleaning (24-hour notice, $80/hour).

🚽 Plumbing

Do not flush the following items:

  • Sanitary products, paper towels, wipes (even flushable), diapers, Q-tips, or cotton balls. Only flush toilet paper and natural waste. Violations may incur a $100–$500 plumbing fee.

🗑️ Trash & Recycling

  • Green: Trash (picked up Mondays)

  • Brown: Recycling (every other Monday — no plastic bags)

  • Gray: Yard waste (by city schedule)
    Cans are behind the house. Joy and Eric usually roll them out, but help is appreciated!

🌱 Garden

You’re welcome to harvest herbs and vegetables in season — just take what you need and leave the rest for others.

🔥 Grill

There’s a small Weber gas grill on the back patio. Let us know if the propane is low so we can replace it for the next guest.

🧺 Linens & Towels

Fees for damaged or missing items:

  • Towels: $20 each

  • Sheet sets: $100

  • Pillowcases: $25

  • Quilts/blankets: $20–$500, depending on item

🧹 Cleaning & Items Left Behind

  • Standard cleaning is included. Additional cleaning beyond 5 hours is billed at $80/hour.

  • Items left behind may be removed at a $100 per truckload fee.

🐕 Damage & Misuse

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Pet damage, excessive cleaning, stains, or strong odors

  • Broken/missing housewares or misuse of appliances/fixtures

🛋️ Furniture & Decor

Please do not move furniture, rugs, lamps, or hang items on walls.

📬 Mail

Mail received after your check-out will be returned to sender.

🕘 Quiet Hours

Please observe quiet hours from 9 PM to 9 AM out of respect for others.

Enter this home from Grayland Street and park in the gravel driveway beside this home. There is enough parking space for two vehicles beside the home and over flow parking along the curb on Grayland St.

About the Home

Welcome to Sisters! We’re a local, non-corporate business dedicated to supporting Guilford County students with learning differences through hands-on experiential learning in our guest homes. Thank you for choosing to stay with us—we’re excited to share this space with you!

Please take a moment to review these guidelines to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay for everyone.

Bathroom Guidelines

Do Not Flush:

  • Sanitary products

  • Paper towels

  • Wipes (baby or “flushable”)

  • Diapers

  • Q-tips or cotton balls

    Only flush natural waste and toilet paper. Flushing other items can lead to costly clogs, with repair fees of $100–$500 billed to you.

Linens & Towels

  • Damage fees for linens and towels:

    • Towels: $20 each

    • Sheet Sets: $100 per set

    • Pillowcases: $25 each

    • Quilts/Blankets: $20–$500 (depending on the item’s value)

Trash & Recycling

  • Green Can: Trash

  • Brown Can: Recycling (no plastic bags, please)

  • Gray Can: Yard waste only

  • Pickup is on Mondays (except holidays). Please place all waste in the designated bins behind the house.

Shared Spaces & Amenities

  • Fenced Backyard: Enjoy the outdoor space and the small Weber gas grill. If the gas tank runs out, let us know so we can replace it.

  • Yard Access: Our landscaper and pest control service may periodically work in the yard or crawlspace. If you notice bugs inside, please clean up food crumbs or spills and message us to request indoor pest control as needed.

  • Furniture & Decor: Please refrain from rearranging furniture or attaching anything to the walls.

Quiet Hours

  • Keep noise levels low from 9 PM to 9 AM to respect our neighbors.

Traveling with Pets

  • Pet Registration: Add all pets (with their emails) to your reservation to comply with platform requirements.

  • Pet Fee: Covers cleaning for one low-shed, small-to-medium pet. For multiple pets or high-shedders, please schedule mid-stay cleaning.

  • Pet Care:

    • Dispose of pet waste in designated outdoor bins.

    • Direct pets to non-grass areas to prevent lawn damage.

    • Excess cleaning for pet waste, fur, or furniture damage is $80/hour, plus repair costs if applicable.

Guest Registration

  • Please add all guests (with their emails) to your reservation so we can share details and comply with platform rules.
